DBX Q by Aston Martin & JWW - Buying The Best Value Aston Martin DBX Available!
Today is a massive day and it’s completely blowing my mind. The first 5 Aston Martin DBX Q x JWW customer cars have arrived at HWM Aston Martin!
Previously, I was incredibly honoured to be invited by Aston Martin to have my hand in collaborating with them and Q-Division in designing a very special edition Aston Martin DBX. And, thanks to the customers who allowed us to hold onto them for a little longer to take a look around, I’m now able to give you a walk around these incredibly special cars, on this incredibly special day.
From the exclusive wheels to hosting one of the largest panoramic sunroofs available in the automotive industry, what separates this car from the rest of the SUVs in the world is the sculpture of it. It is absolutely stunning!
When seeing the cars, the first thing that hits you is the paint. The flagship of these cars is the Lennox Green paint – it’s a Valkyrie based paint technology, developed specifically for this car, and it’s the colour of the one I’ve got at the moment. The other option is the Kurtis Black, which has a light bronze fleck within it, which comes out gloriously in the light and ties in perfectly with the Aston Martin badge on the front.
Speaking about the badge, this one element took months and months of negotiations to get to the point we’re at today. This is a component I wanted to alter to suit the design of the car, giving it a hand crafted, vintage look. However, we are the first external influence to impact the model of this iconic badge, and it’s one part of the car that I’m incredibly happy with. The result has been a unique badge, fashioned in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter by the artisans at Vaughtons, a 200 year old jeweller where all of Aston Martin’s badges are made. I don’t think this is ever going to happen again any time soon, and to have this unique factor on your daily driver is so special.
The interior gives two exclusive options; pure black Alcantara and Oxford tan leather. This is the first DBX to be offered with Alcantara, which was a priority at the design stage, and is offered as a unique feature which is not available on standard order cars.
To now be able to smell, feel and drive a car I’ve had a hand in designing is amazing! I picked up my own version a few months, and can attest to the fact that it’s a great car to live with.
This whole journey has been a natural progression. Starting with driving the pre-production prototype of the DBX in November 19 and being blown away by its agility and versatility, to this point here. I am truly blown away and proud in equal measure, and I’m thrilled to see all five of these cars together.
These Aston Martin DBX x JWW are for sale globally, in both left and right hand drive. I am really delighted with what we’ve created, and hope that we can get these out to more people.
